Full data was made available this week including everything from sales transactions, mortgages, Ejari registrations, valuations, gifts, land, to building and property unit data and even real estate broker, developer and projects data.
The data also includes details such as; identifiers for each sales transaction containing property IDs and Ejari contract numbers.
The Dubai Land Department first made sales transaction data available on its public website in 2013. It was very limited data but still a great start and something no other city in the region had done before.
Real estate experts across Dubai began to find this data extremely useful for research and reporting. This made Dubai closer to international standards in transparency for the first time ever.
Spokespeople believe that Dubai will only rank up in the transparency category, with the main reason being this landmark move by the Dubai Land Department this week. A great stepping stone for the Dubai real estate market.
Data as given by the Dubai Land Departments as shown below identifies the total number of transactions so far from 1 April til date is 3,057 and total worth AED 7.80 billion.
